Jewell's Kindergarten Graduation

Jewell had a great last day of school, and it was also graduation day for her!

She was so excited!

And she was all the other kids in her class. Here is her whole class on the last day of school.

They started off the morning with a Kindergarten/Senior Walk throughout the entire school. The seniors escorted the Kinder kids through the elementary and then the seniors kept walking throughout the entire elementary. 

We almost missed Jewell walking by because she blended in so well. She was so excited when she saw us, and we were excited to see her!

Then all the kids lined up on the stage.

Here is all 173 students of the future class of 2037!

They sang 3 little songs for us and then they all went back to their classrooms

She did a great job!

Once we were back in the class, they all sat on the carpet and awaited their awards

She was so excited we were there

Jewell received the self-control award! 

And her Kindergarten diploma!

Then she got to pick out a bucket with some snacks in it to take home for the summer

One last photo with Mrs. Zoeller. This was Mrs. Zoeller's first year to teach and she was absolutely wonderful! She really was a great teacher and taught Jewell all the Kindergarten things. I am praying she will get a teacher just as good for 1st grade!

Then it was time to say goodbye to her classroom, and she was ready to go.

We are so proud of her and all the great things she did this year!

Then back down to the cafeteria to pick up Mimi. She is so proud of Jewell too along with Grandma DoDo and Papa Tim.

After she was released from school, we waited around town and then picked up Jaina and Jolee from school then headed to Freddie's for lunch. 

Then back to the house for a graduation celebration.

I fixed up a graduation table just for her like I did for both Jaina and Jolee

Allie got her the graduation dog just like he got Jaina and Jolee except Jewells was a bit bigger. everyone in her class got to sign their name on her dog 

I also got her some cookies, and we also had graduation cupcakes for dessert.

She was very excited

She got a bunch of slime that she had been wanting, and Mimi gave her a purple graduation dog as well. She had a great day. 

Kindergarten Graduation Pictures

Right before school was out, I took Jewell up to the school to take her Kindergarten graduation pictures. I absolutely love them and loved taking them of her. When Jaina and Jolee were both in kindergarten they also had a Kindergarten program and wore white graduation gowns. There is still a program for the kids just no cap and gown. So, I bought this one off of Amazon. I couldn't miss carrying on the tradition for Jewell. It came in just enough time for me to take them before school was out. 

Once I got to the school and started taking pictures of her it dawned on me that this was the last time, I was going to get to do this, take Kindergarten graduation pictures. She is our last baby, and this was the last time. It kinda made me sad. It was a very sentimental moment for me, and I tried to soak in every second of our photo session because I know there will never be another one. I am happy in these moments but also very sad. It's a weird feeling to have and I know now just how fast it will all go.
