Last Sunday my friend Nicole invited the girls and I to go to a church carnival so I dressed the girls in fall orange and we headed out
They had all kinds of games and prizes for the kids
Jaina saw her friend Joshua there that was in her class from last year
They had Spanish dancers that did a performance for everyone
Then we played a ton of games and had tamales
Jaina was even brave enough to climb the wall. She didn't get far but at least she was brave enough to say she wanted to try. I'm so proud of her lately because she is really testing her limits and coming out of her shell trying new things
Jain started back at daycare this last week. All the workers were excited to see her and excited she is back. We are only taking her twice a week and so far she says she likes it
After Jaina got her ears pierced the other night she topped her night off by getting a cookie at the Great American Cookie Company
This little girl LOVES these little carts. Anytime we got to a store she loves to find the car carts so she can drive the carts
Last week my uncle had to come over and watch the because I was late getting home one evening so after we got home we headed to Freddie's. Its one of the girls favorite places to eat. They have the best ice cream!
Today was the first actual day of cold weather. I went up in the attic and drug all of Jolee's winter hand me downs. It was chilly out and felt great!
The girls love fruit snacks but I hate buying them because the whole box is gone in a day. I saw a recipe on pinterest and have really been wanting to try it out. It was SO easy to make. You just take one cup of any juice you want, organic, less sugar, sugar free or whatever. Then use two packs of gelatin and that's it. Stick in the fridge until they get jelly like

Halloween is next weekend. I managed to get both girls costumes this weekend. Jolee said she wanted to be a puppy again this year so I suggested she be Cifford the Big Red Dog, Paw Patrol or Scooby Do since those are all her favorite shows. She chose Clifford. I looked everywhere and finally found a costume her size. Jaina on the other hand said she wanted to be a peacock. I said peacock? Now that's random. I wasn't sure where I would find a peacock costume but sure enough they had them at Walmart. I asked her what made her think of a peacock and she said two of her friends at school are going as peacocks so that's were she got the idea.
Another picture from our date night the other day. I wish we could have gone on a mini over night trip to the hill country but as is gone now that Jaina is in school :( Now we just get a date night every now and then
Saturday it stormed and stormed here at the house. We got over 6 inches of rain. We hunkered down on the couch for most of the day. The girls were "bored" out of their minds as Jaina would put it but guess what? Momma was loving it!
Today I finally got my Halloween decorations out. I use to love decorating for Halloween but with planning a birthday, anniversary and my birthday, plus everything else Halloween decorating gets pushed to the way side. Here's Jolee playing with some of the stuff in the box
Friday after I got off work we headed out for dinner, Ha doesn't Jolee look cute
Jaina chose to go eat dinner at Corona's where the ducks are
She's such a mess!
LOL Dixi cracks me up. She always sleeps like this under our bed.
Today I took the girls to my friend Ashley's daughter, Keely's birthday party. She turned 8 today!
