I could just eat her up sometimes she's so cute!! She LOVES bedtime. She never ever gives me a fuss to put her down for bed. Infact non of the girls really ever gave me a fuss at bedtime. I started a night routine with each girl early on when they were baby, babies. Dinner, bath time (every single night), sometimes a night time snack, bottle, then bed. Jewell still takes a full bottle of warm milk at night with her paci. I have a little pillow in the bed with her, she will lay down on the pillow and literally wait for me to "tuck" her in, LOL. She likes for me to throw a warm blanket over her and then she grabs her milk and watches cartoons until she falls asleep.
Hehe, playing with Saylor's pup glasses when we were at Stephanie's house.

Jaina finally had her orthodontist appointment. She had been anticipating this appointment for a while. I told her when she was in six grade I would go have her teeth checked out to see if she really needed braces. I took her to a local orthodontist here in town. I wanted it to be local and convenient for us when she does finally get her braces on. The orthodontist is really nice, his name is Dr. Solomon he checked out her mouth and said her teeth actually looked really healthy, she had plenty of room in her mouth for spacing and for her wisdom teeth and she takes really good care of her teeth. He said that she could probably live without braces but she does have quite of a big overbite. Her back teeth do not touch together and she cannot close her mouth properly like she should. She also has one tooth at the bottom that has pushed pretty far back that needs to move forward. He said if we decide to get her braces she will probably only have to wear them for about 18 months to maybe two years. Justin and I talked it over and we are most likely going to set her up to get her braces at the beginning of the next school year once summer has calm down. I know she is excited to get them. I remember when I was in junior high I wanted braces so bad. My teeth were absolutely horrendous. I had to wear my braces for 4 years. I had horrible buck teeth. I remember getting made fun of so bad in school when I was a little kid, so much I remember crying several times because the kids made me feel so terrible about them. I thank God my parents took the time and had the money to get me braces. I actually really love my smile and love showing off my teeth anytime I can. Getting teased and bullied in school can really damage you, LOL. Before I got my braces on I had to get 4 teeth pulled in one day because my mouth is that small. Braces are not fun, and it is very painful. But like I have always told Jaina "beauty is pain", haha! But when you are a kid I guess you don't really realize how painful it really it is but it was SOOOO worth it. I remember the day when I got my braces off I was so so excited. I wanted to show them off to all those bullies that made fun of me and I did! Even though I think Jaina has a beautiful smile now and doesn't "have" to have braces that bad, if it will make her more confident down the road then we might as well do it now while she is in Jr. High.

Grandma Carolyn has been coming to visit us more often. She has came and stayed the night with us several times in the last couple of months. Her visits have been very nice we love having her come and visit. She always brings the girls fun and unique gifts and makes dinner for us. She stayed with us this past weekend. This time around she brought the girls a very pretty necklace and she gave Jolee her old jewelry box. Jolee just loves it! And she made us a curry dish for dinner that was really good.
Jaina had Girl Scouts last night. Her group met at Dana Peak Park on Stillhouse Hollow Lake to go hiking. Mrs. Kristi told Jolee she could go hiking with them. They hiked for over an hour and a half. While they were hiking Jewell and I ran a few errands.
While we waited for the girls to make their way back to the car Jewell had fun playing around in the car.
And she discovered she could stand on my consul and stick her head out of my sunroof. She thought that was so funny she just kept laughing and laughing.
She can be such a little stinker at times but she is just the cutest.
Once the girls got back from their hike they told me all about it. They said they hiked all the way down to the lake and back. Jolee found seashells along the way and brought them back to show me.
