Monday we got a call from Justin's grandma Pat that his Great-Aunt Neva had passed away. The girls and I were going to stay home but Justin wanted us to go along so we left Tuesday after Jaina got out of school
I was a loooooong drive. Its 4-5 hours depending if you stop and eat and driving at night always seems like it takes longer
There's not much to look at between Temple and Wichita when driving through the country instead of the interstate
But Jaina was able to keep herself entertained as you can see, lol
We finally made it and were glad to see Granny Pat and Pops. The girls had just enough time to watch a movie before bed
The next morning we sat outside with Pops and drank coffee while the girls played in the front yard
Then I realized I was having a severe allergy attack to the ragweed that had blown in that night. Oh my word was I sick, sneezing and itchy all over. It was awful
I sped off to Walgreens to get some Zicam which helped a little. I was mostly strung out on Benaryl the entire time I was there or in bed :(
Not fun.
Wednesday I didn't catch a picture of the girls dressed up but we had a nice big lunch at Pops house with a bunch of relatives the girls and I have never met before and then we headed off to the funeral home. I thought Neva looked just like herself, so pretty and petite
Thursday we woke up and relaxed a little before the funeral.
As you can see Jolee was super relaxed next to Pops, LOL
The it was time to get ready.
The girls looked so cute in their dresses
We headed to the church for a big lunch reception before the funeral
They even had a big giant indoor playground for the kids to play on before the service started
Justin was really worried about Jolee during the service but she did really good, she fell asleep right when it started and never made a peep. What a blessing that was!
We came back to Pops house to change after the service was over. We stayed awhile and ate dinner before headed home. We got home super late and were dog tired when our heads hit the pillow
This morning we got Jaina off to school and then a very special surprise package arrived for me in the mail. I have been dieing to order some Young Living and Justin's step mom Diane happens to sell it so Justin bought me the package I wanted as an early birthday present. I was so excited to see it this morning.

Young Living is 100% pure and natural essential oil. Jolee suffers from bad constipation and was searching for an answer on how to help her go when a friend of mine at church recommend the Digize that comes in this package so desperately I bought some. Jolee was in such pain at that time I was desperate to try anything especially something natural. I put it on her and it works! It works every time I need her to take a bowel movement I rub it on her belly and the next day she has to go! I was amazed. It also worked on me when I got a case of food poisoning back in the spring I rubbed it on my belly and never once cramped! Even though I start threw up it made food poisoning a lot tolerable. I also us Digize for my heartburn. Ive suffered from reflux since I was in Jr. High. I get it even when I stress out. I usually have it every night when I go to sleep. I rub it on my neck and wa-la. Gone :)
I'm a firm believer!
These are the oils that came in my premium package. Ive already tested them out and LOVE them!
This morning I had a million errands to run with this cutie in tow
She drove, lol
We even managed to take a quick look in the pet store only because she said "please, mommy can we go in the pet store" :) Melted my heart, of course we can!
While we were at Aunt Neva's funeral Jaina was "hustling" for money. Lol At both the visitation and funeral lunch Jaina "worked", she was handing out plates, napkins, and silverware and when people were done she gladly threw it away for them. Then people started paying her for her hard work, a dollar here a dollar there and by the end of the 2 days she earned 23.00!
She was beyond excited and couldn't wait to go to the toy store today. Since she's not allowed a hamster she got a toy one for her and her sister. She had her first glimpse at what hard work is and how it pays off. She wants to thank everyone who contributed to her hard work!
Thank you!
