Summertime in Cameron

Does this picture scream summer or what?! 

I love the childhood innocence and joy this picture screams :)

We went out to Allie’s house this weekend since we haven’t been in a while and the girls were begging to go see his new little kittens. We picked him up as soon as we got there and went and ate and Cameron and then drove around town for a little bit after we ate.

We of course took a little drive out to the park to see the ducks. We didn’t stay out too long because it was starting to get windy and it was sprinkling a little bit

After the park we drive around downtown and got some snowcones and attempted to put a penny on the track but after waiting a good 30 minutes for the train to come by and grabbed her pennies and left

We’re headed back to Allie’s house play outside in the front yard and to swing

We got the big box of toys out so Jolee and Jewell  could play together. Jewell didn’t want to leave when it was time to go home she was having a good time playing with all the toy.

 

Jellystone Park

This weekend Jolee had her Girl Scout trip with the Brownies to Jellystone Park in Burelson. 

I was unable to attend this year because I had to work this past weekend. I was a little bummed about it because I would have loved to have gone but I was not given the trip date in time to be able to take off from work. 

So Jolee road with the Mrs. Kristi. Her daughter Payton is in Brownies with Jolee and her daughter Hailey is a cadette with Jaina.

I picked her up today and she told me all about their trip. She said it was soooooo much fun and had a ton of things to do there. They had a petting zoo, water park, arts and crafts, events, water balloon musical chairs, gaga ball, volleyball and a wet cover wagon.

Kristi kept me updated the entire weekend to let me know how she was.

I was bummed that I didn't to go with her but in another way it's good for her to do things without me sometimes. 

They all stayed in a cabin together. Kristi said all the girls wanted to sleep upstairs

She said the water park was the best part. She came home tired and worn out. I'm so glad she had a great weekend. These girls work so hard the whole year to earn this trip and they deserve it! And am so glad they had a great weekend at Jellystone.

Fun for the girls in Tennessee

The girls had alot of fun in Tennessee. Jaina would video chat me everyday to let me know what they did that day. She said they had alot of fun. 

She said they went somewhere almost everyday. They went to a water park one day and spent the entire day there.

She said they got new bathing suits too

Jaina got a brand new phone and Jolee got a new pair of Nike tennis shoes. Can we say spoiled!!!

They spent about two weeks all together traveling. They spent the last three days in North Carolina at John T and Crystal's house before coming back to Texas.

DoDo and Richard brought them all the way back to Texas. I couldn't wait to get home from work to see my girls and hear about all the fun they had. I sure am glad they get to make great memories with all of their grandparents in such different ways. They sure are loved little girls. 

Since they have been gone

So what did Justin and I do with only one child for an entire week? Well I will have to say it was pretty quiet. Jewell watched alot of tv, we played outside and in her room. We went swimming a couple of days and we went shopping. Justin and I even got a chance to go on one date night while the girls were gone. Cindy and Dennis kept Jewell while we went to dinner. We had a great time at dinner and then back home we all went.

Jewell and I met Uncle Allie at Bird Creek Burgers one day for lunch. We are trying new places to eat around town that we have never been to. After lunch we walked around town looking at the Book Cellar and Antique stores. And let me tell ya it was HOT outside walking around.

This girl is just too cute. I could just eat her up. She is into everything these days, she says just about anything and is so smart for 2 years old.

She loves herself a bowl of cereal at night time. 

We didn't do a whole lot while the girls were gone. Some cleaning, working on the pool. I planted a few garden plants in some pots and worked on my business......which I will tell you about one day :)
