Christmas Morning

 Saturday morning the girls were up and at it early. Jolee came busting through door to our room telling us what Santa brought. 

We slowly got up and made our way to the kitchen for some coffee before we watched the girls open their presents

Jewell got this cute little kitchen 

Jaina got a hamster wheel and a gift card to Petco for another hamster :)

And Jolee got an electric scooter

I've already gotten my moneys worth with this kitchen. Jolee and Jewell have played with this kitchen so much since they got it. 

The kitchen lights up, makes noise and even dispenses ice!

She loves it!

It has a sink, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dish washer and even a paper towel holder

Then it was right down to business tearing open their gifts.

Jaina got a make up fridge, make up kit and carrying case, LED lights for her room, some perfume, tennis gear and a few more things

Jewell got things to go along with her new kitchen and a Barbie

Jolee got some LED gloves, crocs with croc gems, a little drone, and a few other outside toys.

Then lastly the girls opened their gift from Kimbra and Weyman. Both Jaina and Jolee received gift cards and Jewell got a nice outfit

The rest of the day was spent being lazy and lounging around the house. It was nice to all be off together and not have to do or go anywhere. I made a big ham that evening and some fixings to go with it.

Twas the night before Christmas

The day before Christmas Justin and I were both off with the girls. It was nice to be able for once to spend BOTH Christmas Eve and Christmas day all together. One of us is always working so it was nice to finally spend both days together as a family. 

Friday, I spent most of the day cleaning. Justin took the girls to the park for a few hours to give me time to get some things done around the house.

Then that evening Justin's mom Carolyn came to spend the night with us.

We had a great time. I cook chicken enchiladas, made a French toast casserole for Christmas morning and made the girls some Christmas punch.

The girls loved their Christmas punch. Sprite, Pineapple juice with a little bit of cranberry and a green sugar rimmed glass.

Then they called Grandma Dodo and each of them unwrapped their gifts from her, Grandpa Richard and Grandpa Tim

They got lots of goodies!

Jewell got a baby doll, some Leap Frog light up toys, some clothes and some big girls training pants

Jolee got some hair chalk, gift cards, an LOL doll, some items from Claire's and lot more

Jaina got an Apple iwatch, some jeans, clothes, gift card and money for her new hamster

They had lots of fun unwrapping their gifts.

Then it was time for them to get to bed so Santa could work on putting together the toys and putting them under the Christmas tree. They were all so excited when they went to bed. They couldn't wait for Christmas morning.

Christmas at Mimi's 2021

The next day the whole family came over to Mimi's house. Rachel, Greg, Rick and Harper all came down from Dallas, Steph and Saylor, Jennifer, Alyssa and Austin, Rhiannon, Hayden and Scarlett all fought the pouring down rain to come to Christmas at Mimi's house.

While we waited for everyone to make it, Mimi was in the kitchen making lunch. I helped her with the Mac N Cheese

Once everyone got there Austin said the blessing then it was time to eat.

We had all the good food, ham, sausage, green bean casserole, mash potatoes, yams, desserts and so much more. It was all so good. 

Jewell passed on all the good food and opted for yogurt, lol.

After everyone was done eating the kids passed out all the presents

We all enjoyed watching the kids open their gifts, it was alot of fun

After gifts the adults opened their gifts from each other

We ate again and had dessert

We were all pooped and ready for bed at the end of the night. We had a great time visiting and having Christmas with family.
