A doctors appointment and a babies room

Today I had my 7 month check up.
Justin met me at work and headed over to the hospital with me. It was a quick appointment. He told me all my lab work came out just fine, so NO gestational diabetes for me.  He then measured my belly and said it was measuring perfect and then we listened to the heart beat which was a perfect 148. He also felt my tummy and said he thinks that she is already head down!
I start my 2 week appointments this month and then I go every week in July until August 4!
Only 9 weeks to go!
Last week when Justin's dad was down he painted baby Jolee's room and its per-fect! I'm SO glad he painted for me. I picked to color to match her crib bedding that my mom is making. Its a brighter blue then whats on the fabric. He also painted the ceiling, doors and trimming white.
While he was down I also had Justin and his dad put the baby crib together for me.
It was a father to father moment as Justin said :)
Jaina was super excited to see it go up.
She said the funniest thing, when they were putting the bed together and she realized what was going on she busted in the room and said "guys....is this for real!" Hahaha! Oh yes it is! she has no idea whats about to hit her in August when that baby gets here.
We also got the rest of the baby things down from the attic and put them together as well.
Here is the bassinet that Jaina used. I washed the fabric and put blue checkered ribbon around it instead of pink.
Jaina has been playing with the crib and bassinet, putting her dolls in them and playing mommy.
And here is the crib all set up!
Now were just missing the bedding and the baby!!
We can't wait to have her home!!!

Maternity Pictures

Yesterday evening we went and had some pictures made by the creek.
This is something I wanted to do since we didn't have them done when I was pregnant with Jaina.
Who knows this could be our last!
We had Justin's grandma snap a few of us. It wasn't really a big deal if they didn't come out but I will have to say this one is my favorite of Justin kissing Jolee!
As you can see Jaina was NOT into taking any photos whats so ever, lol.
She wanted to play with the rocks instead.
Daddy and Mommy's hands on baby Jolee
Again big sister not wanting her picture taken
My side view makes me look bigger, lol
And again a pouty face
Mommy and her first baby
  Baby love :)
Daddy and his princess
This one didn't come out as expected, Jaina was trying to kiss my belly, I was looking down and Justin was daydreaming, lol

 And that's it.
Just a few and I'm happy with that!

First Round of Golf

Today we didn't have much planned so we decided to try out the new putt-putt golf in town. Last summer the Stage Coach Inn got a new swimming pool and golf putt for the kids.
I've been wanting to take Jaina to try it out to see if she would like it.
It's a small 10 hole course, just the right size for her so she doesn't get to bored with it.
She has never been golfing so she wasn't for sure what to do. I got her up there and showed her how to swing and she got a hole in one on the very first try standing way back from the hole!
I was SO proud of her!!
Then grandma showed her how to putt putt on the more difficult holes.
She loved it and was really into it!
Grandma and Jaina played while I kept the score and of course we all know who won.....Jaina did!
We will definitely be coming back and hopefully daddy will join in one the fun next time.
The course ends with a bullseye and if you get the ball in the eye you win a free game.
After putt-putt we headed to Wal-mart to pick up a couple things. Grandma bought her a new hair dresser barbie.
Then this afternoon we took some maternity pictures down by the creek but will show those tomorrow. I have to edit them first. But here's a little sneak peek of Miss Jaina
After pictures we headed to Belton to eat some Mexican food and feed the ducks
She loves feeding the ducks.
They walked right up to her but she was to scared to let them eat out of her hand so her daddy had to hold.
Then we headed home.
Hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day Weekend!

Memorial Weekend

This weekend has been pretty busy for us. Yesterday, my friend Rosie re-did my highlights for me and did an awesome job! She decided to go back to beauty school and I'm so glad because it's always good to have a friend who is a hair stylist!
When I got home Jaina immediately wanted to show me what she had found in the garden...a tomato!
And a jalapeno! I also have some squash coming up too. I guess all that rain we got early this month put a spark in them. We never have veggies this early. We normally have to wait until late June/July.
Justin and his dad smoked some ribs and then we made smoores!
It was mine and Jaina's first time to actually roast a smoore!
Jaina LOVED it!
But actually wanted to snack on the marsh mellows instead

Today Tim and Diane left to go back to Wichita and Justin had to work. I spent most of the day locked in the bedroom studying week one assignments for my test at work.
Then I headed to the grocery store. I saw so many people in bathing suits, boats hooked up ready to go to the lake, and buying alcohol to bring in Memorial Day Weekend and I might add I was a little jealous that I'm huge and pregnant and can't do any none of the above :(
But that's okay because when I got home we decided to have a picnic at the park.
After we were done Jaina played at the park for awhile
I've noticed she is getting more brave every time we go.
This was the first time she actually went over the "bridge" with out being scared and she went down the medium slide. But she hasn't accomplished the "big" slide yet. I'm sure over time she will be going down that one too!
After awhile we went down to the creek
She's still timid to get in by herself and walk out to far. The rocks are super slippery and she knows she has to be careful.
I couldn't get in with her and risk falling on my tummy so grandma had to get in with her.
She loves throwing rocks in the water and watching them splash.
They waded around in the water for awhile then we went and got some ice cream.

30 Weeks!!

I can't believe I only have 10 weeks left in this pregnancy!! That seems so short but so long from now but I know its going to go by super quick and she will be here before I know it.
This week I'm not going to lie its starting to get uncomfortable. I'm getting bigger by the day and its hard for me to sit for long periods of time, walk long periods of time and whats worse is trying to get comfortable at night. It just ain't happening anymore. I woke up at least 10 times last night.
I swear I have a bladder the size of a pea and Jaina has a bladder the size of a camel!
I've had high energy and my mood has been great but of course there are pitfalls.
I'm experiencing ALOT of Braxton Hicks pains now. I'm wondering if she might be trying to come early.....which wouldn't bother me a bit after 35 weeks, lol.
I've been alot more tired this week but I blame that on having to get up a 6am and of course my heart burn has been out of this world! I'm going to ask my doctor if all this medicine is okay for this baby....
This week I've mostly craved chocolate and that's about it. Not really anything else.
Justin and others keep commenting that I'm carrying way different then I did with Jaina. I agree because its all going behind me! Ekkkk!
Jolee's movement have been up and down this week. Sometimes I feel her alot and other days I can hardly feel her at all. I mostly feel her waaaaay down low kicking around as with Jaina I felt her way higher.
Other then that I feel like an oven! Its HOOOOOOOOOT! At night I have to keep the a/c down super low and still have to have a fan on full speed blowing on me.
I think I have froze everyone in the house so far.
And I officially have pig feet, knackles and sausage toes :)
Yes, my hands and feet and swollen now that I'm at work sitting at a desk all day.
Last night I had to prop them up to try and keep the swelling down.
I also put on my fake ring. I couldn't take the stares any longer. At first I didn't care but if you've never been pregnant before you don't realize you cant wear a ring so you get alot of dirty looks. So the fake one went on, lol.
And a side view of the belly :)

Thankful

This week I am very thankful to have Justin's family down helping us.
To be honest I normally don't like visitors cleaning my house at all BUT this week I started my new job and have been on information overload. I'm thankful that I've been able to go to sleep early and Jaina has been keeping busy with them. And for all the help with the cooking, cleaning and yard work.
If I was still at home full time it would be a TOTALLY different situation because I wouldn't need any help. And with the new babies arrival it will be different and more relaxed because I will be at home for 6 weeks and will be able to focus on both girls and take care of them in a quiet house. So that will be just fine!
Adjusting to work at 7 1/2 months pregnant is just a little tiring, lol. But I'll get the hang of it by next week and hopefully pass my test at work with a 90 so I can keep my job, lol.
Otherwise I'll be a stay at home mom again, lol.

Grandma Do Do and Jaina have been having a good time! Jaina has  really been showing her true colors this time around, lol.
Grandpa Tim, Granny Diane and Jaina have been keeping her busy too!
