Daddy will you dance with me?

This  weekend was Salado's Father/Daughter Dance

Jaina was SO excited!

I was going to have her wear her silver Christmas dress since she only wore it a few times this Christmas but we were at the mall last weekend and she saw this dress and said "oh, mommy pleeease can I have this dress". So of course I gave in and got it for her and I'm so glad I did. She looks so adorable in it.

I rushed home from work on Saturday to get her ready. I painted her nails red and yes, I let her wear a little bit of lip stick, red, her favorite.

I then curled her hair out and put a black sparkly band in her hair. She also got to wear her wear high heel shoes.

She is alllllllll girl and loves getting dressed up and looking beautiful.

When did she turn 15??

Then daddy came out and presented her with a corsage

Isn't it darling. I got it from our florist we use at work. They did an awesome job and even put red "diamonds" in it for her too

Justin said they danced to about 6 songs, they had little refreshments their and she visited with her friends. He said they had a great time.

Earth Day Saturday

Last weekend Justin's mom and step-dad Steve came to pick up the girls and take them to the earth day show at the Expo Center.

The girls were very excited to see grandma when she walked in the door. Since the girls were gone for the day it gave Justin and I the chance to paint the girls bathroom.

 After the show they came back and showed us all their goodies they got. Justin and I made dinner for everyone. We had a great visit and glad we got to spend some time with them.

Adventures in Topesy

Last Saturday my uncle and I took the girls out to Topesy to the Topsey Exotic Ranch.

The ranch is a huge drive thru safari. You buy food and then drive thru the park feeding the animals out of your window

Both girls had a blast feeding all the animal and were not scared at all the touch them

The animals will chase after the car if they know you have food and the Billie goats will head butt your car for more food

But they were super cute, soft to pet and nice

I wont lie I was a little afraid that the Llama's were gonna spit at me but they were nice and very soft to pet

 

Jolee wasn't scared at all!

They come right up to your hand and nibble the food. They wont eat it, if its thrown on the ground. Their quiet the spoiled little animals

The Zebra was SOOOOOO pretty. The girls loved feeding them.

He didn't want the 5 little pieces in your hand he wanted the entire bag of food so instead he stuck his whole head in the car and got it. It was hilarious. The girls were just screaming and laughing

After we got done we got to go feed the animals in the petting zone

Happy Birthday Leah!

Friday was my neighbor Leah and (BBF--I won't tell you what that stands for :) 31st birthday. Leah is such a GOOD friend to me. She has fun with me, listens to me, we confide in each other, talk trash to each other, help each other out, babysit for each other, and stay up late texting each other.

We went to see Brayden perform in the talent show and then we all went to eat at Texas Roadhouse

The girls came along and got to sit at a little table all by themselves across from us. Jaina said "Just like we're on a date" lol

Hyun is Leah's mother-in-law. Isn't she beautiful.

We had a great dinner. Leah invited me to go out with her and Jason after dinner but I wasn't feeling too good :( I just felt super exhausted and going out all night didn't sound fun. I know she was bummed about that but I'm glad I came home.

She still had a good birthday dinner and am glad we got to share it with her.

Going away goodbyes

Wednesday we gave my co-workers Bridgette a going away party. She is transferring to the Houston area.

We are all sad to see her go. She really is a great person to work with. We are all going to miss her

We all met up at the Dead Fish Grille in Belton for some beers and seafood

Justin and I brought the girls with us. They got to spend time with Logan.

And Bob! Jolee loves Bob. He is my office manager. He chased her around the restaurant and she was loving it! Saying "Come and get me Bob" Haha! It was SO cute. Look at the grin she has on her face

After dinner Justin took the girls back home so the adults could go out for some adult fun

We laughed, cut up and had a fun time!
