Ugly Christmas Sweater Christmas

Saturday we had Christmas with my side of the family. This year I voted that everyone must come to Christmas in a tacky Christmas sweater. I'm glad that everyone played along and came in "costume"

Haha I found our shirts at a local thrift store. Justin's vest was really ugly and his tie played music. My shirt said "Official mistletoe tester", lol and I even found an tacky sweater to fit Jaina

My cousin made her sweater along with her hubby's

He added some stockings on the back of his and had candy in them. I told him he looked a little creepy handing that candy out to the kids. I told him not to go to the park in that sweater, bahahahahaha

Then it was time for the kids to open there gifts

Christmas at my grannies house has always been a Christmas overload with all the presents and people stuffed in one room. 

The girls got alot of super cute stuff!

Then it was time for the adults to open there gifts. We usually go one by one and watch people open their gifts. Its how we have always done Christmas

But who needs presents when you have plastic bags to play with, lol

We stayed until the girls were worn out and ready to go. It was alot of fun this year and glad we were able to make it a little less stressful and alot more fun with our tacky Christmas sweaters!

Christmas Vacation

Here we are running errands on Christmas Eve. Bad mistake!

The grocery store was PACKED!

Never again.

But on the other hand these little elves were having a blast driving this cart around

I had to pick up our ham for our Christmas with my family on Saturday so we ran it out to my uncles house and then had lunch with him. After lunch we went to "Allie's park".

This is Jaina's new favorite park only because it has a "merry round"

She said "wow, I've never been on a merry round before"

The girls were having so much fun

Jolee loved the merry go round and swinging with my uncle. And she even learned how to crawl up to the slide and go down. 3 times!

Jaina and I played tag, swung, chased each other, went down the slide and took turns pushing each other on the merry go round

And the weather was perfect

When we got back the girls gave my uncle his Christmas gift

Christmas day we all left for Wichita Falls

The girls rode pretty good even though Jaina asked "are we there yet" about every 5 minutes

We finally made it

Jaina had to change into her pink dress and high heels the minute we got there. She wanted to show everyone her pretty dress

Like mother, like daughter, so I'm told :)

Everyone was glad to see us even Daisy and Gypsy

Then it was time for Christmas dinner

And then to open presents

Jolee got a Charlie Brown and Snoopy animal. She hugged them tight all night long.

 Jaina got a Baby Alive. It poops, pees, she can feed it and change its diaper. Let me tell ya she was beyond excited!

Later the night Courtney, Larry and Susan came by to give the girls their presents

Jaina got a pencil for her leap frog, some color wonders and her favorite, play make up

And Jolee got a big ol dog to cuddle up with

That night we went to the Fantasy of Lights. It is a drive thru or walk thru with all kinds of displays. 

Though it was a little chilly we still got out and quickly walked through it

Jaina loved it

And Jolee keep saying "eww, ahhh"

Then we drove around the country club looking at all the lights in people's yard

It was fun but the girls were fast asleep in the car so we headed back to Pop's house

Thursday we headed back home but not before seeing the girls God Mother Kimbra. Jaina always has fun when she visits Kimbra at her work

We finally made it home Thursday night

Friday the girls got an extra present in the mail from Aunt Mary and Lauren

She always sends the best outfits for the girls

Jolee got a jogging suit and Jaina got got two new dresses
