Salado Christmas Parade

This evening was Salado's annual Christmas parade. A kick off to the Christmas stroll. The girls were super excited to walk in the parade. Well Jolee got to actually ride on a float and the bigger girls got to walk behind the float.
Jaina had a tough decision to make. Walk in the parade with her baton class or walk in the parade with the choir. She chose baton :)
I dropped the girls off with Mrs. Hodge. They got red ribbons in their hair, reindeer headband that lights up and a light up necklace to wear.
The parade started at 6:00pm.
It was so dark you couldn't see who anyone was. I had a hard time taking pictures of the girls. They came out all blurry. But I was excited to see the girls. We waved and yelled at them as they past us.
After the parade was over we went and ate at the Pizza Place in town.
They had fun!

The end of November

I can't believe it is the end of November already and the year is almost over! November went by so fast.
Here is a couple things we did this month.
Jolee got to vote at school on voting day. They got to choose a class president. Here they are in their voting booths.
Jolee didn't win but she got to wear a sticker all day that said "I voted." She was proud of that.
Here is a display of all their turkey's and what they are thankful for.
In Girl Scouts the Daisies got to make glasses out of pipe cleaners for one of their petals they were working on.
They ran into a special surprise one day while we were at Wal-mart. Santa! Jolee was sooooo excited!
Jaina was a little embarrassed which I think Santa knew so instead of making her sit on his lap they each gave a thumbs up, lol.
Uncle Allie got Jolee a growing dinosaur egg. She placed it in water for three days and it hatched
Into a big giant dinosaur. She was soooo excited!
Tippy had her little surgery this past month. Finally. And luckily she wasn't pregnant.
Her favorite sleeping spot.
The girls were out of school for a whole week during Thanksgiving. Justin and I switched off taking care of the girls while we worked. Several days I had to pick up the girls at the houses of where he was hanging Christmas lights. This particular day I pulled up and Jolee was pretending to drive Justin's truck like a crazy lady. She thought it was hilarious.
Jennifer, Alyssa and Austin came down the day before Thanksgiving and stayed the night with us. Alyssa had fun playing with Jaina and Austin and Jolee had fun playing in her room.
Otis...….lol

12 Weeks

I am 12 weeks pregnant. Allllllllmost out of the first trimester.
This week has been very trying. Very up and down. I still have a very bad head cold. I can't take anything for it so it's just lingering around and I'm ready for it to leave. My nausea still continues. I have been taking the B6 like crazy and it does seem to help. I feel like I need to gag all day everyday. I have had a few nights this week where my stomach wasn't upset but I couldn't smell anything so eating just doesn't sound appealing. Most of the time I just stare at the pantry wondering what I should eat. I haven't really craved anything so far besides, Starbucks Caramel Fraps, Taco Bell and tuna subs. So random.
I'm still very exhausted and lazy. I just want to sleep all the time and I do take advantage of it. I know I won't be getting any sleep in about 6 months so I don't mind being lazy right now. The bad heart burn is kicking in especially at night. I keep a stash of Tums in my night stand. I died my hair this past week. I wasn't sure if I could because of being pregnant but Rosie said it would be alright so I went for it. Emotionally I am doing better this week. I still forget that I'm pregnant at times but that's because I'm so busy with work, two busy little girls, a house and a husband.
I can still fit into all my clothes. Two of my friends that just had babies last year gave me a bunch of their maternity clothes which I am very thankful for. I'm starting to get a little baby bump. Not too noticeable unless you know that I am pregnant. Other then that I'm just counting down the days until I start feeling better. Hopefully by week 13 or 14 I will be in the clear.
When I was going through the bag a maternity clothes I found this doppler. I was so excited. I've been wanting one. You place it on your stomach and you can hear the babies heart beat an it tells you the BPM. Makes me feel better because that way I know the baby is alive in there, lol.

Annual Walkway of Lights Trip

Last weekend my uncle, the girls and I took a little trip to the hill country. For the past two years we have been going to the Fredericksburg trade days in November. So we decided to go again.
Our first stop was in Johnson City at their little walk way of lights.
They have a small little area full of lights. It was a great stop because we needed to stretch our legs.
And Allie had to push the girls in the sleigh

After a few hours of driving we made it to the trade days
It was fun but they really didn't have anything different then the last few years we have came. But they did have lots of cute things to look at.
Jolee found this signing, moving and dancing unicorn.
After about an hour or so of looking we were starving so we headed into Fredericksburg to eat at Mamascita's. After our bellies were full we headed down main street to the Christmas shop.
Jaina got a new Douglas dog and then we headed to the five and dime store.
On our way home from Fredericksburg we stopped in Marble Falls to go to the Walkway of Lights.
My two little elves misbehaving

I will have to say we were all a little disappointed with their lights this year. They cut their display in half and there wasn't much to see so we were in and out in no time.
But they still had a good time looking around

Our last stop was at the Blubonnet Café for a cold glass of chocolate milk and a piece of chocolate and lemon pie :)

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
Here are some of my Thanksgiving decorations I put up at the beginning of November.

This year Thanksgiving was kinda up in the air cause I was on call, Justin had to work and everyone seemed to be working or had already made plans. But at the last minute my sister decided to bring the kids, my Mom came down and my uncle came over. We were going to have Thanksgiving at my uncle's house but at the last minute decided that it would be easier to just have it at my house. I made a "small" feast......to feed an Army, lol.
We had a great lunch and filled up on seconds.
Jolee said the prayer, "Dear God, Thank you for this food, thank you for this day, thank you for Thanksgiving, thank you for Christmas and thank you for Halloween." Haha!
Then we lounged around for a while, the kids including Tippy played board games.
Then we sat outside for awhile and enjoyed the sun
while Allie played ball with the kids
Then it was time for everyone to go back home.
After naps we headed to the fire station for Thanksgiving with Daddy
They made a turkey, ham, with sides and pies. As soon as the guys sat down to eat the tones went off and they had to go on a call. We waited for them to come back to finish eating. Then we headed home.
I'm so Thankful for us!
Next year we will be a little family of 5 with a baby in my arms. We can't wait!
