Caption This.....

This girls is a mess yall!
We went to Hobby Lobby last week to get the girls stuff for their corsages. We were in the fake food area looking at the fake flowers when I turn my back on this child for a split second to turn around to this!
Lord help me!
She stuck two tomatoes in her dress to make them look like big boobs. When I looked at her she kept saying "I got big boobs, I got big boobs" LOL
She constantly keeps me on my toes. She has the funniest personality and knows how to use it. She is defiantly one of a kind and doesn't care what anybody thinks. She's such a little stinker and I just love it, haha!

World Thinking Day

Friday the girls had their big Girl Scout event, World Thinking Day.
This is something that all the troops here in Central Texas have been working on for the last three weeks.
World Thinking Day is a day to think about Girl Scouts in other countries, to learn about them, try new foods and to have fun.
My group, the Daisies had the Bahamas. I have 10 girls in the group. Each girl researched a topic and then wrote it out and glued it on the board. We had things up there like climate, native animal, foods they eat and all sorts of great info.
As our food we passed out coconut water for the girls to try and we had a Johnnycake cut into bite size pieces.
The girls also made swaps to swap with other Girl Scouts in other troops that came to participate. So we made 150 and about 125 were handed out.
We made little bags with the Bahama flag, the flamingo, some sand and a little shell. The safety pin is for the girls to pin it on their vest as they walk around.
Here was some of the girls before the rest showed up. They were all so excited.
Jaina is a Junior. She is in the same troop as Jolee Troop #8226 but she is with the bigger girls and they are called Juniors
Jaina's group had Israel.
They passed out hummus with pita bread and had a chocolate dessert.
We had all the girls with us except 2.
Aoi, Makenize, Rainie, Gala, Emily, Abbey, Payton and Jolee.
Their all my sweet little Daisies this year.
Then it was time to line up with their countries flag.
All the troops paraded in to show off their country. They had an open ceremony and then it was time for the event.
We split our girls up into 2 groups of 4. Jolee, Mckenize, Aoi and Rainie stayed at the booth. The girls explained (or tried) to explain what their poster was all about to the other troops that came by. Each girl got a "passport" to visit that country so when they came by we stamped their passports. Jolee handed out swaps and the other girls handed out the Johnnycake and Coconut water.
Then it was our turn to switch and go around to the different countries. Jaina went on her own and said she didn't try hardly any food but Jolee tried almost everything. The look on her face when she tried a lot of the different foods was priceless, lol. She even spit out a couple things.
India and Switzerland both had cool boards.
At the end of the night their was a couple groups that did a few skits and dances. The girls came home with a bag full of different swaps. They both had a lot of fun.

Salado Father Daughter Dance 2019

This last weekend was the annual Salado Father Daughter Dance.
Something the girls look forward to every year.
I can't believe how grown up these girls look, especially Jaina. What happened?!
This years theme was a sock hop but Jaina does not like the themes at the dance. She likes to pick out a big fancy dress and get all glamours so that's what they did.
I got the girls dresses back before Christmas. Jaina actually wore this same dress for her piano recital and Jolee's dress I saved for the dance.
I got the girls dresses at JC Penny. Jolee dress had a velvet top coat. Her dress was sleeveless, red with black roses and her shoes were rose gold.
Does she not look like Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction with her bangs cut? We think so!
Jolee wanted her hair in a pony tail. I was planning on giving her an up do. I put it in a pony tail and curled her hair with the curling iron in ringlets. It looked so cute from the back even though you can't tell from the front. So instead of an up do I left it in a cute curly pony tail.
My favorite picture of Jolee.
Jaina's dress was sheer on top, black and sparkly and cream on the bottom. And her shoes were cream as well.
She wanted me to curl her hair as well. I think it turned out adorable just like she is :)
This year Justin decided to take both girls at the same time. He said taking them last year separately was a long day of dancing. The girls were excited to go together so it all worked out.
When did my baby grow up?
Side view of Jolee's hair.

Too cute :)

My favorite picture of Jaina.

Then it was time for pictures with Daddy
And time to pin Daddy's flower on
Haha I make this same exact face Jaina makes
Daddy and his little girl
Ready for the dance with her purse in hand
Jolee wanted a purse just like sissy so I dug one out from my dresser
Daddy ready to go with his baby
Then it was Daddy's turn to put the girls corsages on
My favorite part
I made the girls corsages this year and I'm pretty proud! I think they turned out great! And I saved a ton of money by doing it myself too.

I had two pieces of lace for Justin to tie it on for them. It worked out great by doing that
All my babies ready for the dance.
Off they went!
Ha! I love this picture of her sitting in her booster seat ready to go to the dance. Next thing I will know she will be off to prom :(
For now I'm soaking up all this fun with them.
I asked Justin to take some pictures while at the dance but only received this one. Looks like they are dancing and having a good time. The dance was from 5:00 to 8:00. They stayed the whole time and got home a little after 8:00. Jaina said it was a lot of fun and she saw a lot of her friends. Jolee said they had lots of desserts to eat like cookies and cupcakes. They each came home with a carnation they received at the dance.
I'm so glad they had fun and Justin is such a good Dad to do things like this with his girls. It makes my heart happy!

25 Weeks

This week has been fairly good. Not a whole lot to say this week. I guess that's a good thing!
This beginning of the week my energy was pretty good. I had a low key week at work which I believed helped. I continue to have all the same side effects like numbness in my hands, swelling in my hands, feet and legs and heartburn, but one thing new are these horrible migraines. I've had them all weekend long. I took Tylenol which didn't help much. Tried sleeping them off and taking nice long warm baths. I went and got a prenatal massage, a pedicure and manicure today to see if that would relieve some tension in my back, hands and feet but no such luck. At least my toes and nails look pretty :)
Another issue is my blood pressure. It's creepin back up to the 90's again. Not out of control but could be a factor to my migraines.
Cravings this week have been, Chinese food, peanut butter sandwiches, chili, chili hot dogs and apples. So random, lol. My sense of smell is still not there. I can hardly smell anything.
My body is starting to ache really bad especially at night and in the mornings. I can't get comfortable in the bed and haven't been getting any quality sleep at night because my back hurts so much. I tend to sleep on my side so my neck and shoulders hurt a lot too. My emotions have been all over the place this week. Some crying going on at the Veal house, lol.
Other then that I have been on the hunt for some maternity pants. I searched all day Friday and finally broke down and bought some stretch elastic waist pants. I officially feel like I'm 60 but hey they are comfortable.
On a brighter note I have only gained 12 pounds according to my scale. Very surprising with all the junk I eat.
Here is a little glimpse of Jewell's crib and bedding. I am working on cleaning and painting her closets and then we will paint her room. She will be going in the guest room. It's a small room. I have my computer desk and a twin bed in the room already. So there's not much room for anything else, just the crib. And that's okay because she being my third, I know what I need and don't need. I can live with out a lot of baby stuff like a changing table or dresser. I'm making her closets work for now. Plus she will be in a bassinet next to my bed for the first 6 months since I will be breast feeding.
I bought her crib online. It's gold! I LOVE it! It's tiny, not bulking and has a vintage look. I am doing her theme in light colors and flowers. I love the bedding I got it from Buy Buy Baby. It's perfect!
The girls haven't seemed to interested that I'm pregnant. But the other night they were both hanging out in my room so I let them listen to her heart beat with the Doppler machine I have. They had the biggest smiles on their little faces.
They were really wanting to feel her kick. Her kicks aren't big and strong yet so I pooched my stomach out real hard and fast to make them think she kicked and they screamed with joy! They were so excited to feel her "kick".  Haha, Jolee's face! Jaina said "Mom, I can't believe she can kick that hard". I said wait until she's born an kicking around, lol.
Love all my girls :)
