Happy Easter everyone!
We had a full weekend of fun!
Our weekend started out Friday when Stephanie and Saylor got to the house. They got to our house in the evening and the girls played for a bit outside. Then they took a bubble and then helped make some Easter cupcakes.
They each took a turn putting in the ingredients.
We made confetti cupcakes with blue icing and Easter sprinkles. They were pretty tasty!
After everyone went to sleep, I set out all the Easter baskets.
Jewell's basket had lots of candy including a white chocolate lamb, a new Polly Pocket and a new watering bucket to help me water my plants.
Jolee got a new iphone charger and plug because they are always losing their chargers, some bubble tea, a bath bomb and bath salt, and lots of candy including a white chocolate chicken.
And Jaina got a makeup brush remover, a new makeup pallet, new phone charge and plug and lots of candy and all three girls got a new pajama set.
Storie spent the night with us some I got her a little basket too
And Stephanie brought Saylor's basket full of goodies
In the morning all the girls came rushing in the kitchen to see what the Easter bunny brought them
So excited to see what they got!
And even more excited that they got to eat chocolate for breakfast, lol
All the girls were happy with what they got
Then we took some pictures while we waited for Allie to come over and Justin to get done with yard work so we could eat.
And of course, some pictures with the REAL mascot of the day Stormi!

He's such a sweet bunny and very friendly. He let's all the kids pick him up and run around with him. He's just the best!
Then we ate lunch. Lunch was okay. I veered off from my usually side dishes. We ended up having ham, mac n cheese, Au gratin potatoes and street corn. I'll have to say, it wasn't my favorite meal, I should have stayed on track with my usual recipes.
Then Justin and Allie went out back to hide all the eggs. The girls were SO excited!
And off they went!
Jaina and Storie even hunted eggs. There was $20 and free candy at stake so of course they were going to find the eggs, lol
They ran around finding all the eggs
They were having a good time

They went out that evening together and ate in Salado on it, lol

Then it was time to boil the eggs
Allie got Jewell this cool little automatic egg spinner that you can take markers and color the eggs.
It was definitely a highlight. They played with that thing the rest of the day

Then Me, Steph and Justin hung out in the back yard and talked
While Jolee played with Stormi and Saylor and Jewell played in the yard
They wanted to go to the "perk", park so we loaded up and headed into Salado
We stopped by Jewell's school and took some bluebonnet pictures
Jolee did NOT want to get out of the car and take pictures. She said she didn't want any of her friends seeing her

Then off to Pace park. It's been a minute since we have been here and boy were we surprised. They added on a whole entire new section.
They now have a merry go round, a whole entire playscape, sliding boat, a twirling seat and new swing set
The girls had so much fun!

Then we went down to the creek and let the girls put there feet into the cold water
They skipped rocks for a while
Then we went and got a pizza from Happy Pizza and enjoyed the music. Then headed home to end our night.
